Before you decide to submit your film, please read the general information, as well as the festival rules & regulations. Only films completed after January 1, 2025 are eligible for the competition categories.

- International Shorts for Young Audience
- National (Cyprus) Shorts
Eligible for all the above competition categories are also student films from every year of study, not just graduation films. Please specify the academy your film was made in as production company.
Register by filling out the online application available on the festival website. You can submit an unlimited number of films, however for every film a new entry form has to be filled out.
Every film entry needs to include at least one still in jpg or png (300 dpi). If you have a trailer, it would be greatly appreciated if you could include it as well.

The final selection of the festival will be announced in the last week of June 2025. Successful entrants will be notified of their participation in the festival.
Countryside Animafest Cyprus uses films in FHD (1920×1080) resolution, as .mov or .mp4 files for screening, with stereo (2.0) sound.
