Koilani Festival Program
This year’s festival once again presents a rich program of screenings and parallel events, including tributes, concerts, and workshops. It joins together the voices of many leading independent creators from every corner of the globe alongside that of numerous Cypriot artists from the fields of cinema, visual arts, creative writing, music, and applied arts.

Small Worlds, Imaginary Stories with Bety Kokaraki
A creative workshop for children and adults, inspired by Teatro Lambe Lambe and shadow theatre. Using light, shadows, miniature constructions, and plenty of imagination, we will create small worlds that fit inside a box and tell their own unique stories.

Alice 03 live
Alice03 is the new live project of Cotsios o Pikatillis, based on a turntablist patchwork of vinyl fragments and live loops. Through obscure ambient music, spiritual jazz, forgotten sound memories, and expressive lyrical fragments, he creates a form of sonic storytelling that explores the relationship between humanity, nature, magic, and social change, offering hopeful perspectives in uncertain times. “When i visited cyprus for the 1st time in 2023 something caught my attention: a tree in a garden. the tree stood with me and inspired my drawings. It all turned full circle when Cyprus animation festival asked me to do the poster for their 25th edition. I picked the tree as a motive. Animafest Cyprus, the Cyprus Association of Graphic Designers and Illustrators (CAGDI), and the Fairytale Museum in Koilani invite five CAGDI member illustrators and graphic designers to participate in Tales in Frames. Inspired by Nearchos Clerides’ folk tales, participants will create Augmented Reality (AR) posters that bring stories and characters to life. They will also take part in a stop-motion animation workshop, gaining the skills and techniques to animate their creative vision.

Departing from Carlo Goldoni’s trilogy, Christodoulos Panayiotou presents a site-specific exhibition at the Minerva Hotel in Platres, produced by Pylon Art & Culture. Through a personal narrative, “The Holiday Trilogy” connects the history of the area with the broader history of tourism.

sugar_with_glue is an Amsterdam-based artist, fusing glitched textures, polyrhythmic hybrid live drumming, into a raw sonic world built for listening and the dancefloor.
No Vision Simili is an Amsterdam-based artist, will be crafting real-time audio-reactive visuals, translating rhythm and texture into immersive light and motion, a hypnotic visual language built to move in sync with sound.

A Wolf at the Door
A Wolf at the Door is a trio based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Their varied musical influences and mutual interest in dystopian themes meld into dark soundscapes and pulsating beats, processed vocals and narrated existential poetry. They will present tracks from their debut album "Born Into This", as well as plenty of new tracks from their upcoming 2nd album.

Based on the 1982 book written by Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake, the film takes the classic fairy tales of Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella, then mixes them together and serves them with a mischievous twist.
